Strike One: The Warning
This is the softest of all the three strikes, and it is, as the name implies, basically just a warning for the player. It’s the first alarm that rings when the Pokémon Go app detects heating on your account. However, this does not mean it’s simply a warning, there are some consequences to having a warning issued. It will actually affect your game experience, as it will place some limits on your game. For the duration of the warning (7 days) you won’t encounter rare Pokémon in the wild, nor will they appear on the Pokémon tracker.
Social actions will also be restricted, such as trading, sending gifts, and battling other players, this could even be extended to other social interactions. EX Raid Passes will also be restricted, so you may not be receiving those either. Strike Two: Suspension
Ok, now this is a little harsher. Suspension is really what the name implies it to be. Incurring again in misbehaving and disobeying the game rules, will result in a second strike. This will completely suspend your account for approximately 30 days, after this, your account access should be restored.
Strike three: Termination
Receiving the first and second strikes should be enough warning, and therefore the third strike is the biggest and final. This is not a simple strike, as it results in the termination of your account. It represents a permanent ban.
Remember that if you believe these strikes to be without a real fundament, you can always try to appeal the decision of the system to request a further investigation of your individual case.
Part 2. What Actions You Should Avoid
You can play Pokémon Go with ease if you do not plan on recurring to any tricky actions or straight cheating in the game. But what are the actions you should keep an eye on and try to avoid if you’re trying to keep your account strike-free? Well…
